Hi list,
I have same trouble with my hylafax installation. First some specs.
- - System: Debian woody
- - hylafax-server 4.1.8-1 (from http://eppesuigoccas.homedns.org)
- - isdn-card: Sedlbauer speed fax+ pci
- - libtiff3g: 3.5.7
If I try to send a fax via Fritz Fax from my windows 2k machine I have
several choices:
- - color fax (200dpi)
- - b/w fax (196 dpi)
- - b/w fax (98 dpi)
The only setting which produces the expected output is "b/w fax (196 dpi)". The color fax is cut off at the end and in the "b/w fax (98 dpi)" setting the images are scaled wrong and thereof only part of the image is shown.
The main problem is that already the saved tiff in the recvq folder is
wrong and there is no way to get the right informations via the faxrcd
script for tiff2ps/fax2ps.
After fiddling around with several paramters I don't have any more
ideas.
Cheers
Nicki
