[hylafax-users] deleting incoming faxes

Do I need to be log-in as root in order to delete incoming faxes?

The received faxes group:owner is uucp by default; I work as a user and
can access view incoming faxes but I can not delete them as user.  I
need to be root user and that is not very convenient.
If some faxes are coming in and they are junk I would like to delete
them without logging as root.

Is there a way to change the the owner of incoming faxes?
Or do I need to be in the same group as uucp if so how?
