[hylafax-users] GettyArgs + cid problem

hello,

I`m sure that the modem supports cid because with minicom the command at#cid=? shows me which kinds my modem supports. Answer is 0, 1, 2. 0= disabled; 1=formted; 2=unformated
our country supports cid`s becaus with analog faxmachine it shows me the cid name and cid number.

/bin/faxrcvd I dont know how it should look like please send me an working example with cid support. and a working config.ttyXX (if it is posible for you ;-))

another question: where can I find the correct GettyArgs variables because the link of Hylafx.org is not correct. http://www.hylafax.org/man/getty.php

please help because I get grey hairs since I work with hylafax ;-)

thanks

Ramiresssss

Hello Amigo,

when you want the cidnumber, take a look at the bin/faxrcvd script
and make it fit to your needs. this script is responsible for the
post-processing after the receiption of a fax. you can easily change it to
your needs.

You are wrong: look at what it is passed to /bin/faxrcvd CID is not present.

The problem is elsewhere.

Are you sure that modem support cid?
Your tel.co. support it?
I do it (in my country) only with digital lines.

Hello Amigos,

I have some torubles and I hope someone can help.
At first, sorry for my bad english.

I have
    hylafax version 4.1.5
    us robotics 56k faxmodem

The problem is:
I need the received cidname und cidnumber from incoming faxes in a log
file. With the command "faxstat -r" I
think I get only the cidnumber (or is this the tsi). i.e.

-rw---- 1 14 +42 2682 70471 12:40 fax00989.tif
-rw---- 1 14 +42 2682 70471 13:09 fax00990.tif
-rw---- 14 14 +42 2742 47074 13:26 fax00992.tif
-rw---- 1 14 +42 2683 80481 13:21 fax00993.tif

In the ../fax/log I don`t find any hint about the cidname
