[hylafax-users] No response to EOP repeated 3 times

Could someone please tell me what could be causing this

error??  I try the following and it croaks:

 

sendfax 95039991234 -n /etc/passwd

 

This is the output:

 

Trying fax device '/dev/modem'... OK.
Dialing 95039991234 ... OK.
sending '/etc/passwd'...
WARNING: are you sure that this is a G3 fax file? Doesn't seem to be...

 

sendfax: FAILED to transmit '/etc/passwd'.
Transmission error: +FHNG:54 (No response to EOP repeated 3 times)
