I don't think I'm connecting at anything other than 14.4 with these
endpoints, but I'll try out what you suggest.

OK, I'll need to get a copy of that PDF file which is being blasted out... 
And I can test it properly.

Is there a "concealed" MaxSENDPages setting in HylaFax I've stumbled across?
 I've included the following line into both my /var/spool/hylafax/etc/config
and config.modem files:

MaxSendPages:           99

Grepping through source code found some references to a setting that the
code retrieves, but I didn't find anything in either the FAQ or the official
documentation.
