Or, in reversed bit-order, that is:
<FE C0 04 00 00 88 00 00 12 00 1E 00 00 40 80 00 FC F2>
This is the NSF frame and probably represents a Canon fax machine (00
00 88 => 00 00 11).
The reason the frame came up "too short" as "0 bytes" was because the
initial flag, "FF", was never found. I.e., the remote appears to send
0xFE rather than 0xFF. Does this happen with all destinations you send
to, or only this one? What kind of modem are you using?
