[hylafax-users] R: hfaxd dieing randomly

I had the same problem.
First I solved the problem killing faxgetty every received fax.
To do this I called a program written in C from faxrcvd.
The second way to solve the problem (I don't know why) is to use a different
modem

HylaFAX-4.1.7 and whfc on clients.

Sometime hfaxd dies (faxq remains up), so no new connections are accepted.
Last message in log is usually

Sep  7 11:25:33 server HylaFAX[2620]: User myuser timed out after 900
seconds at Sun Sep  7 11:25:33 2003

Anyone experienced similar behavior?

There are other cases with same message but server keeps going.
