[hylafax-users] distintive ring config

How can I set up the modem to receive fax in a distinctive-ring called line?
Right now, I'm using an external device to do the distinctive-ring call.
Can I do it directly by the configuration to modem?
Is it modem dependent?

Currently, the modem is a Hayes "Smartmodem OPTIMA288 V.34/V.FC+FAX"
Running hylafax 4.1.6-1rh9 on a Redhat 9 box.
