[hylafax-users] Fax receive EOP or MPN problem

Hi,

I am using Hylafax 4.1.5 (latest SuSE 8.2 downloaded patch) in a stand
alone PC
with Creatix V90 external modem. Sending works OK. Receiving fails.
External faxes and many internal/local sends from a laptop running a
Windoze
fax tool both give the same log mesage (/var/spool/fax/log/c0000xx) as
the example below:

It seems that Hylaxfax has a problem.

Running the PC with W2K and the same fax tool: faxes are received OK at
14400.
With Hylafax it was 12000. After forcing XON/XOFF as with the windoze
fax this
went to 14400.

The "failure to receive silent" message always occurs.

The modem configuration is:

#
ModemType: Class1 # use this to supply a hint
ModemRate: 19200 # rate for DCE-DTE communication
#ModemFlowControl: rtscts # default rtscts
ModemFlowControl: xonxoff # default rtscts
ModemResetCmds: AT&V1
ModemRecvFillOrder: LSB2MSB
ModemSendFillOrder: LSB2MSB
#
#ModemNoFlowCmd: AT&K0 # setup no flow control
#ModemHardFlowCmd: AT&K3 # setup hardware flow control
ModemSoftFlowCmd: AT&K4 # setup software flow control
ModemSetupDTRCmd: AT&D2 # setup so DTR drop resets modem
ModemSetupDCDCmd: AT&C1 # setup so DCD reflects carrier (or not)

#
ModemMfrQueryCmd: !Rockwell
ModemModelQueryCmd: !RC288DPi
ModemRevQueryCmd: ATI3 # product information
#
ModemDialCmd: ATDT0%s # T for tone dialing
Class1Cmd: AT+FCLASS=1
Class1TCFResponseDelay: 75
Class1SendPPMDelay: 75
Class1SendTCFDelay: 75
Class1TrainingRecovery: 1500
Class1RecvAbortOK: 200
Class1FrameOverhead: 4
Class1RecvIdentTimer: 40000
Class1TCFMaxNonZero: 10
Class1TCFMinRun: 1000

Adding the set of Class1....... parameters did not help.
Adding ModemRecvFillOrder did not help.

Note: Before ungrading the PC motherboard etc. I used Hylafax with an
old Creatix LC 288 modem. This unit could not communicate with the
serial port on the new ATX motherboard so I switched to a newer V90 modem.

So I cannot think or find anything else to try. Does anyone have a
suggestion
as to what next to try ?
