This is all on winxp_pro_sp1:

- Modem selection works perfectly

- Offline modem is as before: L button active, and SDR and "connector"
buttons disabled, cannot go back online unless menu_file->system->ok

- "ask number" window is still in the background

- I noted a weird case about main window layout; steps to reproduce:
* Open main window and resize to liking
* If you 1) minimize to tray and re-maximize or 2) close window with
titlebar X and relaunch whfc then window size is preserved.
* But, if you minimize to tray -> right click tray icon ->exit -> relauch ->
window is of minimal size (just the portion of the titlebar necessary for
the titlebar buttons and title).
