These two entries should not be identical.  This feature works with my Multitech
5634ZPXPCI where I have:
  
CIDNumber:           NMBR=
CIDName:               NAME=
  
You may need to check the CID format of your Eicon Diva directly by monitoring
the
rings on minicom.
