Oh i tried that believe me.   the fancy copier/fax/networkprinter will only
support PCL <ugh>  i can print to any of our 14 or so HP printers in
postscript but this expensive peice of crap only does PCL.    and after
hours?  sure thing i could do that too with some date checking stuff.  but
no they want paper.  obviously it's like a toilet.  the jobs not finished
until the paper work is done.

had a look for a ps2pcl quickly and there doesn't appear to be one that's
widely used (funny that) but was so annoyed i didn't bother very long.   :)

ah well i guess i have a personal samba fax to use.  not like i'm going to
turn it off.  :)

I have a perfectly working fax server which is in and outgoing from samba
all singing all dancing thanks to help from people everywhere and i'm stuck
by a CRAPPY manager.    All the secretaries could see the incoming faxes and
forward them via email.

"Duh.  what happens when it's after hours and i'm expecting a fax todo with
a meeting i'm having?".  so i have to put it all back to printing out on
paper.

<deep sigh>  i rest my case.  actually i bash my head against the wall.  and
this is an R&D organization.  <another sigh>   i'll just go to the garden
and eat worms.

PS needless to say a reply will not be nessesary unless you can get me cheap
rates to a shrink.  :)   i needed to vent.
