At this point I suppose that isn't a problem of the printer driver...
What version of Hylafax are you using? 
What type of modem are you using?

ah thanks. <goes away to try it> I tried it and it still does the same
thing.  perhaps it's because i'm faxing from one hylafax server to another?
i'll be doing some more testing on a real fax machine today.

has anybody tried faxing from one hylafax to another?

I think that the "HP LaserJet IID PostScript Cartridge v52.2" its the best,
it comes with Windows 2000. Try it!
