Did you change the GRANT settings in cypheus.mysql?

Did you install MDAC on Win9x or NT4?
If you are using Win2k, please update to MDAC 2.6 or 2.7. Some Win2k
machines have an incomplete MDAC package installed.

Are you able to connect to MySQL using any other tool on your client
machine?
