They seemed to behave quite well and RH 7.2 didn't even need any additional drivers for them if I recall correctly. I ran like that for about a year. We do have these things crap out on us on a semi-regular basis in our POS systems, but I suspect that may be a result of trying to push the signal too far to our remote receipt printers, but that's a different topic.
