You need to add/edit a line like this in your modem config file in
/etc/hylafax/etc:

ModemDialCmd:           ATDT9%s

To add a couple of seconds delay you might try adding commas (',,') after
the '9'.

 I'm a newbie.
I read all setup lines/man pages /etc. 
I'm not really able to come out from this problem. 
How can I setup Hylafax to dial always 9 followed by a pause of 2 seconds ?
