Well, my problem seems to be that I only have access to newer modems + USR Couriers. Before I go and get yet another brand I am very interested in knowing if there is one available that does work. Both the Couriers and the new Zyxel seems to have serious problems with HylaFAX. I can get both of them to work seemingly fine but after a few sends/receives various problems always appear, most of them are known as it appears from the hylafax archives. /per olof Steve Arnold wrote: > Per olof Ljungmark wrote: > >> After several frustrating attempts with USR and Zyxel modems I need to >> ask on this list: >> >> Does anybody have a working combination of a currently available modem >> and configuration file? > > > I only have a couple of older externals left (a cheapo clone 56k > voice/fax/data with cirrus logic chipset, and an even older cardinal > 33.6 fax/data).
