[hylafax-users] Faxgetty stops working while receiving.

Hi, I don't know if this has been reported/discussed before, but it's new to 
me.
I've installed Hylafax 4.1.3 (SuSE 8.1 updated packages) on two different SuSE 
8.1 PCs, but both keeps, every now and then, to lock while receiving: 
faxgetty hangs forever, status/ttySX says something like "Receiving from 
XXXX" even if line carrier is down for hours, and of course the PC is unable 
to send/receive any faxes until faxgetty gets killed.

Grepping through the logs, I've found that any time this happens, fagetty 
receives some sort of garbage after a timeout, like this:

Both the PCs are equipped with a recent 3COM USR FAX EXT, with different 
firmware release (Rev. 11.15.19 and REV. 11.6.11). They are configured as 
Class 1, I've tried both starting from the usr-xon template and from the 
class1 one (same results). 
Using them as class 2.0 shows the "RSPREC error/got DCN (code 51)" :(
Is this a known problem of these modems? Does upgrading to 4.1.5 (which means 
rebuilding packages by hand :/) helps? Anyone has seen/solved this problems?
