We do this all the time over our WAN.  While our WAN is quite a bit faster 
than 128K, yours should work, but be a bit slower.  We use WHFC on the 
client PCs. Are all the "networky" things OK? Can you, for example ftp a 
file from the client to the Hylafax server?
