[hylafax-users] malformed tiff problem
Hi.
I'm using hylafax 4.1.5 on a SuSE Linux 8.1 Box, with a AVM Fritz!ISDN
Card.
Most of the time hylafax works fine, we have already sent over 1400
Faxes in 3 months. However, some of the faxes (about 1%) are not
properly sent. Usually, the receivers report, that a part (maybe half
a page) of the fax is correct, the rest of the page contains vertical
lines.
The document is sent as a ps-file (the file is ok- at least it can
be viewed with ghostview, no problem!) via a cypheus-client.
A second phenomena that occurs at about 1% of the cases is, that after
the header-line the whole page is filled with horizontal lines. Again, a
non-corrupt ps-file is sent. If the same file is transmitted again, no
error occurs! Examining the tiff-file, that has been sent, I recognized,
that the file seems to be empty.
Maybe somebody has already solved this problem?
Thanks,
Markus
