Hey group,
We are running WHFC 1.0.9 on a Windows XP system with several accounts.
Users reported (I have not seen it happen myself, yet) that when they print on
the WHFC printer, the fax-send window, where one has to enter the telephone
number, does not appear. Not even in the background. But when one logs on as a
different user on the same system, the lost windows from the other user
suddenly appear.
Does anybody have a similar problem and a workaround for it? What is the
problem here?
Also strange is, that the users on this XP system cannot change their
user-settings. The dialog box to set the spool-directory is grey and uneditbale.
Administraors can change it, however. But when they change it, they change it
for everybody on the system.
To make it even more strange, users on a second XP with the same whfc
version CAN change their user settings (for example the spool directory). But as
with the other system, one user's changes affect all other users on the system.
These problems let me think, that WHFC is simply not able to handle
multi-user environments. Could that be true?
Thanks for any advice,
Jan Ansgar
