Try looking under $HYLAFAX_DIR/status and see if the status files got wiped out for whatever reason. I am, of course, making the bold assumption that this is where WHFC is getting its staus info. Restarting the server should replace those files.

Greetings.  We've been using hylafax for almost a year now with no problems, until today.  The WHFC on Windoze boxes is displaying the message: "No status (empty file)" under Modem modem.  Any ideas on what's causing this?  Please advise, oru faxing is down for the moment.  Thanks!!
