Hallo Luciano,
I have configured a fax server in a Windows 2000 environment with > 30 PCs
and I have used Smbfax as Hylafax client:

 http://inconnu.isu.edu/~ink/new/projects/smbfax/

If you need help with the configuration, please let me know.
