It says ./filename, which suggests sendmail is trying to create a
temporary file in the current directory.  Try checking sendmail's
configuration to ensure it knows where to put temp files.

I'm sorry I'm not sure exactly where that option is.

my sendmail "say" something like this:

Dec 30 15:44:28 mail sendmail[22058]: gBUEiSe22058: SYSERR(uucp): Can't
create transcript file ./xfgBUEiSe22058: Permission denied
Dec 30 15:44:28 mail sendmail[22058]: gBUEiSe22058: SYSERR(uucp): Cannot
create ./dfgBUEiSe22058: Permission denied
Dec 30 15:44:28 mail sendmail[22058]: gBUEiSe22058: from=fax, size=0,
class=0, nrcpts=0, relay=uucp@localhost 
what should I set?
