Hylafax reports chipset as Conexant AC/K56/V2.300-V90_2M_DLP. The data sheet also refers to Conexant chipset. http://www.netcomm.com.au/one/dcp_011.asp?product_id=2 Minicom reports the modem config as being AT S7=45 S0=0 -SDR=4 M0 L1 x4 &c1 E1 Q0. The important string here -SDR=4. This was pointed out in the modem handbook. Specifically it said AT-SDR=4,1 triple ring detected and reported as "RING3" When this number is called, I can hear 3 quick rings (set up by phone company). Minicom reports RING3 and the call is handed off to hylafax. I am not familiar with DRON/DROF. I have not come across this in my config. > > Also did you have to do something special to turn RING1, RING2 detection > on.... Amongst other settings in /var/spool/fax/etc/config.modem FAXNumber: Your number RingsBeforeAnswer: 2 Ringfax: RING3 > > > Thanks again!! It took me quite a while to set up Distinctive ring Brian Marr ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@hylafax.org < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@hylafax.org.*
