Well, I turned faxsend into a script that modifies the "FAXNumber" line in /var/spool/hylafax/etc/confix.ttyx0 per-call. This sort of works, but the CID is apparently only transmitted within T.30, not on the ISDN level. So I can see it at the receiver's end in the fax header but I can NOT see it as the originator of my H.323 call (which is what I really want - for accounting purposes). So I'm not there yet. Thanks anyway, Markus Joey Officer wrote: > Although I'm not sure if this applies to specifically what you are working > with, look in /var/spool/hylafax/etc/confix.ttyS2 (where ttyS2 is my modem, > yours will vary) That is where the information is stored, I don't know if > you could append that on the fly to contain the information you require. > > Hope that points you in the right direction... > > Joey > > > -----Original Message----- > From: hylafax-users-bounce@hylafax.org > [mailto:hylafax-users-bounce@hylafax.org]On Behalf Of Markus Storm > Sent: Monday, November 04, 2002 4:43 AM > To: hylafax-users@hylafax.org > Subject: [hylafax-users] how to set calling party number ? > > > Hi all, > > I am using Hylafax with a virtual modem (t38modem from OpenH323, to > enable Fax over IP).
