My first install of Hylafax was on a debian box (486/66 w/ 32 megs of ram)
One day the box decided it didn't want to boot after a power failure, so
I made the next install on a FreeBSD box...
FreeBSD had a few issues with starting services properly after a power
failure
so I gave in and bought a UPS
Debian would probably be your best choice if you're tied to linux - Easy
to update, most flexability on what to install, etc.
I think that only freebsd has a version of GhostScript that doesn't
depend on X11 (Hylafax depends on GhostScript)
Do with this information as you see fit ;-)
