[hylafax-users] Can't receive faxs automatically have to answer manually.

I can send and receive faxs manually that is. But for the life of me I can't get faxgetty to pick it up. I have it in my inittab file as t2:234:respawn:/usr/local/sbin/faxgetty ttyLT0 have also tried /dev/ttyLT0 no luck. I am running slackware 8.1 and a lucent PCI modem and I know its a winmodem but it does send out no problems and recieve i just have to type faxanswer ttyLT0. Its a standard Class 1 command set I did download the lucent AT command refernce hoping it was some diffrence there but couldn't find any. If someone has a working config file for a lucent microelectronics 56k winmodem rev 01  maybe I could compare it and find something wrong.
