[hylafax-users] linux + getty

I've just brought up Hylafax on a new machine, running Mandrake Linux 7.2 
(2.2.19 kernel), and just discovered that getty_ps-2.0.7j can't be used with 
Hylafax. There are two problems - one is that in 'initline()', which can't be 
avoided without modifying the getty_ps code, it both calls 'vhangup()', which 
hangs up the line, and then closes the file descriptor it just used to open 
the tty port, which causes carrier to drop.

I've found that 'agetty' can be used with GettyArgs: "-h - %s xterm" quite 
nicely.

It looks like from the release notes for getty_ps that this has been the case 
since at least the 2.0.7g release.

Should we change the installation notes to say that getty_ps is not 
recommended, or have I missed something?
