Ok, I apologize, maybe I didn't make the question clear enough:
You are, correct, trying to make the *program* capable of catching the
status of specific fax jobs it has generated? Cause if you are, you're
going to have to break down and do all the hard work from your app -- I
don't know of anyway to get *any* of the windows based clients to
return the job number to their caller -- and you'll need that to do
what you want.
It's not that hard -- it's a slightly modified FTP style transaction;
several toolkits exist, including one in Java -- can you call Java from
your VFP program? Last time I touched FoxPro it was on a Mac.
