Hi. I am currently experimenting with setting up the email to fax gateway simply by setting up a postfix transport and then filtering the stream through faxmail. However, I am fairly discouraged by faxmail's truncated abilities to deal with mime attachments. In particular, I generally care about faxing through the attachments and would not care much if the actual message body were not present in the fax. However, faxmail appears to only "see" postfix mime files, and eveyrthing else is truncated. Have people come up with alternatives? I am considering setting up a perl filter to catch the incoming stream, decode the mime attachments, and then convert or send the whole lot straight through sendfax. Any other options?
