Hi,

Many appologises for wasting anyone's time. 
I found a way to do it: I had, origionally Ftp'ed to the server - not
Telneted. 
By Telneting I could remove any jobs, logged in as root.
For example 

Telnet localhost 4559 
 user win
230 User win logged in.
 jkill 57
200 Job 57 killed.

Hope it might help someone else.
