[hylafax-users] REMOTE HANGUP: Unspecified Transmit Phase D error

Dear Hylafax

We have been evaluating the following on our Linux system:-

HylaFAX v4.12 under SuSe Linux 2.2.7; 3Com/USRobotics Courier V.Everything modem model 3CP013453. The modem's firmware is:-

Supervisor date        05/03/00
DSP date                03/16/00
Supervisor rev          1.0.6
DSP rev                  1.1.9
DAA rev                  0013

When sending a fax we never get a clean "FHS:00" termination only the following:-

Jul 29 09:22:04.66: [10696]: --> [20:+FCS:0,5,0,2,0,0,0,3]
Jul 29 09:22:11.45: [10696]: --> [7:CONNECT]
Jul 29 09:22:11.45: [10696]: SEND begin page
Jul 29 09:22:11.46: [10696]: <-- data [1026]
Jul 29 09:22:11.46: [10696]: <-- data [1027]
Jul 29 09:22:11.46: [10696]: <-- data [1031]
Jul 29 09:22:11.46: [10696]: <-- data [1025]
Jul 29 09:22:11.46: [10696]: <-- data [1025]
Jul 29 09:22:13.45: [10696]: <-- data [31]
Jul 29 09:22:13.45: [10696]: SENT 5151 bytes of data
Jul 29 09:22:13.45: [10696]: SEND 1D RTC
Jul 29 09:22:13.45: [10696]: <-- data [9]
Jul 29 09:22:13.45: [10696]: SEND end page
Jul 29 09:22:13.45: [10696]: SEND send EOP (no more pages or documents)
Jul 29 09:22:13.45: [10696]: <-- data [2]
Jul 29 09:25:13.44: [10696]: REMOTE HANGUP: Unspecified Transmit Phase D error, including +FPHCTO timeout between data and +FET command (code 50)

If we use a USRobotics 56k Faxmodem, we always get a clean FHS:00

Are we doing something wrong or is the modem we are using not right?

Best wishes

Paul
