Hi,

Looks like you're hitting some fun with Automatic Private IP Addressing 
(APIPA).
From memory, if the machine is running DHCP, and can't get an IP address 
for whatever reason, it will get assigned one in the 169.254.xxx.xxx 
range.

Exactly why WHFC is trying to send to this address though is anybody's 
guess !!
Have you had any problems with DHCP ?

OK, doing it...

Nope, no 169.254.83.200 ANYWHERE on the server machine...

Any ideas (besides re-installing Win2k)!?
