[hylafax-users] Inittab problem

RH 7.0
Hylafax 4.1 beta	
I set up my fax server a while ago. In the inittab file I put this entry:
t0:23:respawn:/usr/sbin/faxgetty ttys0
This worked fine until I recently had to reboot.
Now after I send a fax - faxstat says:
Waiting for modem to come ready
Anyone know what the problem could be?
