Brian, Thanks for the detail, which has been confirmed by my contact at EICON. Two years ago the parent company of Lasat Networks of Denmark purchased EICON Technologies, a Montreal company. The resulting company was named Eicon Networks. The research side of Lasat was renamed Eicon Networks A/S and was developing embedded chips and VPN technologies. It was a subsidiary of the parent company and related only in name to Eicon Networks of Montreal. Eicon Networks is doing fine, and we've been working very closely with them recently to make sure HylaFAX supports their digital boards. Expect to hear more about this when 4.1.3 hits the streets this summer. -Darren ----- Original Message ----- From: "Brian Ipsen" <bipsen@nerdnet.dk> To: <hylafax-users@hylafax.org> Cc: <yan@cardinalengineering.com> Sent: Sunday, June 02, 2002 4:35 AM Subject: [hylafax-users] Eicon (was: ISDN Fax - MSN ?) > Hi agian, > > Regarding Eicon - seems like it only is the Reserach part that is > bankrupted.
