[hylafax-users] File conversion

Sirs,

From the command line I can type:-

sendfax -n -d 08701696776 (file)

If the file is an old fax in goes like a dream, but if anything else it simply hangs. Should HylaFAX convert files to ps or a suitable tiff format prior to execution. Alternatively, should they be converted and does HylaFAX have the software for conversion.
