I guess that would depend on how many you want in a server. For our small server (at least while we test and evaluate, about 50pg inbound and outbound a week) we found an old ISA USR 14.4 fax/modem, didn't need to do anything more than let faxaddmodem detect it. I personally think that unless you need to get into the multiport stuff the best way to go is using something you might already have around in the spare parts area. If it works great, if not, you aren't out anything but a small amount of time trying it. (I wouldn't waste hours trying to force an old modem to work) Since faxes still tend to max out at 14.4 this is a good use for those old modems that might be sitting around (or at a used computer store) -Mike Alexander -----Original Message----- From: hylafax-users-bounce@hylafax.org [mailto:hylafax-users-bounce@hylafax.org]On Behalf Of Konto Artur S (polipol.pl) Sent: Thursday, March 21, 2002 5:09 AM To: hylafax-users@hylafax.org Subject: [hylafax-users] supported modems Hi!
