problem seems to be differences between Debian potato and woody (testing) in ghostscript and font packages (gs, gs-common, gsfonts). solution: Install gs, gs-common and gsfonts packages before installing hylafax-server package. After installing these packages run "defoma-reconfigure" to register all installed fonts. Look into "/var/lib/defoma/gs.d/dirs/fonts/" before and after running "deforma- reconfigure". It should not be empty! Also Run "gs -h" to check pathes. Might be a bug in the installing script.
