The machine at 038705065 sits on the floor below me and it is quite
busy, so that's not the problem.
Removing '@' after the ATDT, and then trying to send a fax does this:
the modem does not dial, instead it starts bleeping and whatnot, leaving
me to `faxrm` the job. I guess I need the '@' there. :)

This problem really puzzles me...
