I do not remember exactly why I setted up S25, but I may retrieve it.

However, to solve the problem, only ATS40=2 is needed, since it is buggy in
USR sportster modem
(look at http://myweb.worldnet.net/~philb/FAQ-TXT/FAQ002.php)
