Hy, > > I am about to launch into this. Me too :) I am using an Sedlbauer Speedfax+ ISDN card behind an PBX which suplies an Euro ISDN BRI with MSNs. The AT command interface for the card is suplied by the Linux Kernel. There are two ways to configure the MSNs which should be used, an ugly one which i'm using at the moment and an nice one, which i want to use i near future: the ugly one: The Phonenumber which the ISDN card should for must be set with "ModemResetCmds: AT&E<MSN>". For each Faxnumber you want to use an extra faxgetty with it's own device must be setup (the device is only virtual, you don't need an new ISDN card for each device!). Faxrouting is done by the device names (all faxes received on ttyI0 are send to chef@acme.com, ttyI1 to bigboss@acme.net etc...) the nice one: With the AT&L command more than one MSN can be assigned to a device. (with the command "AT&L930;935;936" the card listens to the numbers 930, 935 and 936). With ATS23=3 the Kernel appends the called number to the end of the Ring message (instead of a simple RING it sends RING/930 when the number 930 where called). With this you can handle up to 10 MSNs with a single card or posibly (not tested) an complet numberblock when you use what is called "Anlagenanschluss" (something like PBX-Line) in Germany. I have have only tested it once now and got the problem that Hylafax dosn't like the RING/<MSN> message. Maybe there is an configuration option for this which i didn't found today... I will try it again tomorow :) Bye Sascha ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To unsub: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@hylafax.org < /dev/null
