[hylafax-users] Receiving faxes

Situation:
RedHat 7.1
Hylafax 4.1
libtiff 3.5.5-10.so

Effect:
Receiving a fax does not get any further than ANSWER -> CONNECTION
and a tiff file of about 8bytes has been created in 
/var/spool/hylafax/recvq

Are there any patches for this...I suppose I'm not the only one 
encountering this problem.  Is it libtiff based?  Is it modem based? 
 The ANSWER -> CONNECTION line is all debugging that shows up in 
/var/log/messages.

Does ipchains influence the process of receiving faxes ?

Please help me out, this is like running in the dark.
