[hylafax-users] Vobis Modem and Hylafax: DTE underflow?

Hello Hylafax-Mailinglist!

I'd like to set up a Modem from my friend to use Hylafax. The Modem is
called Vobis VoiceFax and is some years old.
Although the Modem is quite old, the Service is up and running. Recieving
Faxes makes no Problems. I am using WHFC as the client.

But when i am sending more than one Page (right after the first page), i
always get the code 43 Error message as show below. In the Faq i can find
somthing about disabling the 2D Compression, but i don't think that it is
used here (how do i find out?).

The Distribution used is SuSE Linux 7.1.

How do i fix the Problem - or at least where does it come from?

By the way: can you please tell me additionally, where i can get
informations about setting up an answer-machine too? (maybe some Howtos,
because the Advanced Server Configuration- Chapter doesn't tell me the
Details i am searching for...) - do i really need vgetty+sendfax?

Kind Regards,
Mit freundlichen Grüßen,
  Daniel Pätzold
