Are you aware that some path(s) have changed in 4.1?
Maybe some cvonfig file entry point to non existent directories now?
Set the server tracing to a maximum level and have a look at the logs.

I do not think that you need this patch for hylafax and capi operation, but I do not
know what this patch does exactly so i might be wrong.
