Dear All, I have server-clients(pc-server) hylafax server running in Turbolinux. It can send fax using the sendfax client installed in a server to a certain fax machines. I can also send a fax using client TurboLinux machine only (pc-client) thru server-clients(pc-server) to a certain dedicated fax. Here's the flow and work fine as discuss above. e.g. pc-server(server-client) ---> fax machine (sendfax -n -d 1234567 /etc/files) pc-client -----> pc-server(server-client) ----> Fax machine (dedicated) (sendfax -n -h pc-server -d 1234567 /etc/files2) However, if im in fax machine(dedicated) or using the pc-client hylafax and try to send to the pc-server(server-client) "I can't receive fax" services. I got error below in my logs. And also below my config file for /dev/ttyS0. Can anyone point me where I miss something in my configurations. Thanks! ----------------snoop for error log---------------------------------------------- Aug 30 09:42:03.19: [ 6729]: SESSION BEGIN 00000050 6325279524 Aug 30 09:42:03.19: [ 6729]: <-- [4:ATA\r] Aug 30 09:42:11.72: [ 6729]: --> [5:+FCON] Aug 30 09:42:11.72: [ 6729]: ANSWER: FAX CONNECTION Aug 30 09:42:11.72: [ 6729]: STATE CHANGE: ANSWERING -> RECEIVING Aug 30 09:42:11.72: [ 6729]: MODEM input buffering enabled Aug 30 09:42:11.72: [ 6729]: RECV FAX: begin Aug 30 09:42:13.35: [ 6729]: --> [29:+FTSI: " 5256193"] Aug 30 09:42:13.35: [ 6729]: REMOTE TSI "5256193" Aug 30 09:42:13.67: [ 6729]: --> [22:+FDCS: 1,5,0,2,0,0,0,3] Aug 30 09:42:13.67: [ 6729]: REMOTE wants 14400 bit/s Aug 30 09:42:13.67: [ 6729]: REMOTE wants page width 1728 pixels in 215 mm Aug 30 09:42:13.67: [ 6729]: REMOTE wants unlimited page length Aug 30 09:42:13.67: [ 6729]: REMOTE wants 7.7 line/mm Aug 30 09:42:13.67: [ 6729]: REMOTE wants 1-D MR Aug 30 09:42:13.79: [ 6729]: --> [2:OK] Aug 30 09:42:13.79: [ 6729]: REJECT TSI "5256193" Aug 30 09:42:13.79: [ 6729]: RECV FAX (00000050): recvq/fax00007.tif from 5256193, route to <unspecified>, 0 pa ges in 0:02 Aug 30 09:42:13.79: [ 6729]: RECV FAX: Permission denied (unacceptable client TSI) Aug 30 09:42:13.79: [ 6729]: <-- [6:AT+FK\r] Aug 30 09:42:15.44: [ 6729]: --> [8:+FHNG: 2] Aug 30 09:42:15.44: [ 6729]: REMOTE HANGUP: Call aborted, from +FK or <CAN> (code 2) Aug 30 09:42:16.87: [ 6729]: --> [2:OK] Aug 30 09:42:16.87: [ 6729]: RECV FAX: bin/faxrcvd "recvq/fax00007.tif" "ttyS0" "00000050" "" Aug 30 09:42:16.94: [ 6729]: RECV FAX: end Aug 30 09:42:16.94: [ 6729]: SESSION END -----------------end-------------------------------------------------------- ------------- ------------------snoop for config.ttyS0-------------------------------------------------- # $Id: class2,v 1.23 1996/06/24 02:58:32 sam Rel $ # # HylaFAX Facsimile Software # # Copyright (c) 1990-1996 Sam Leffler # Copyright (c) 1991-1996 Silicon Graphics, Inc. # HylaFAX is a trademark of Silicon Graphics, Inc. # # Permission to use, copy, modify, distribute, and sell this software and # its documentation for any purpose is hereby granted without fee, provided # that (i) the above copyright notices and this permission notice appear in # all copies of the software and related documentation, and (ii) the names of # Sam Leffler and Silicon Graphics may not be used in any advertising or # publicity relating to the software without the specific, prior written # permission of Sam Leffler and Silicon Graphics. # # THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS-IS" AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, # EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY # WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. # # IN NO EVENT SHALL SAM LEFFLER OR SILICON GRAPHICS BE LIABLE FOR # ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, # OR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER RESULTING FROM LOSS OF USE, DATA OR PROFITS, # WHETHER OR NOT ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF DAMAGE, AND ON ANY THEORY OF # LIABILITY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR PERFORMANCE # OF THIS SOFTWARE. # # # Generic Class 2 modem configuration. # # EDIT THIS CONFIGURATION TO REFLECT YOUR SETUP # CountryCode: 63 AreaCode: 2 FAXNumber: 5279524 LongDistancePrefix: 0 InternationalPrefix: 00 DialStringRules: etc/dialrules ServerTracing: 1 SessionTracing: 0xFFF RecvFileMode: 0600 LogFileMode: 0600 DeviceMode: 0600 RingsBeforeAnswer: 1 SpeakerVolume: off GettyArgs: "-h %l dx_%s" LocalIdentifier: "The Dairy Farm Philippines-OSSC" TagLineFont: etc/lutRS18.pcf TagLineFormat: "From %%l|%c|Page %%p of %%t" QualifyTSI: etc/tsi NoCarrierRetrys: 5 PercentGoodLines: 0 MaxConsecutiveBadLines: 0 MaxRecvPages: 25 MaxDials: 3 MaxTries: 3 UUCPLockTimeout: 15 # # # Modem-related stuff: should reflect modem command interface # and hardware connection/cabling (e.g. flow control). # ModemType: Class2 # use this to supply a hint ModemRate: 19200 ModemFlowControl: rtscts ModemSetupDTRCmd: AT&D2 # setup so DTR drop resets modem ModemSetupDCDCmd: AT&C1 # setup so DCD reflects carrier (or not) # # We normally append the "@" symbol to the dial string so that # the modem will wait 5 seconds before attempting to connect # and return result codes that distinguish between no carrier # and no answer.
