[hylafax-users] general modem config questions

Hello,

� I'm new to hylafax, and fax servers in general.� I am having all sorts
of problems trying to configure my USRobotics modem to work well with
hylafax.� First I was having handshaking problems when it was configured
as a class 2.0 modem, and now I have configured it as a class 1 modem,
and I'm having issues with it not detecting a line hang up, so it just
locks the whole server up.

MODEM NO CARRIER
<--[9:AT+FRH=3\r]
-->[10: NO CARRIER]

over and over and over and over......

Any thoughts on fixes for this error?
���� I have read that the modem I have is very substandard...ooopps.� So
I want to get a new one.� It seems the "modems" page on the web site is
out of date.� Does anyone know what current fax modems work well with
hylafax.� Thank you for your help.
