hi lee,

	Okey! I focus the problem are more in modem and serial port rather
than my configuration files I attached in my previous mail. Any idea how can
I changes the setting of modem delays to 2600ms? I'm trying to changes a
different modem to isolate once I can't get through of it. Thanks for your
advise guys!

Yes.  I'd guess that the serial port was locked up at this time, so any
serial communication will abort immediately.  I don't think his modem or
the serial port is faulty, only at this time it was locked up because of
all the previous trouble.
