I don't know that the list is outdated, I think HylaFax just works better with older style modems, most of which can still be gotten either new or refurbished. We had some problems with HylaFax, got a Refurbished Multi-Tech MT1932ZDX, with a ten year manufacturers warranty no less, and we have had no problems since. Multi-Tech is still in business and makes great modems, I don't know about internal though, I've always had issues with Linux and internal modems. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve Snyder" <swsnyder@home.com> To: <hylafax-users@hylafax.org> Sent: Friday, July 20, 2001 2:58 PM Subject: [hylafax-users] Seeking current recommended-modem list > Hello. > > I am in the market for a modem with which to use HylaFax v4.1 on Linux. > The existing list of recommended modems (http://www.hylafax.org/modems.php > is really, *really* outdated. > > Can anyone recommended a modem to me?
