Lee is almost certainly correct; HylaFAX apes FTP, and FTP, remember, connects *back* to the workstation. Make sure your filrewalling drops turds in the log file, and you should be able to see where you need to punch a hole. And note that the implication of "on by default" is that it doesn't *matter* if *you* enabled the firewall, *RedHat* did it for you. Cheers, -- jra -- Jay R.
